We are very excited to announce that Camp Étude is back this year! We are offering a robust after school program. The expanded program will provide opportunities for students to participate in programming that:
-
Expands opportunities to Create and Innovate
-
Improves academic performance
-
Links to our greater community
-
Fosters school community
We are calling our after school program “Camp Étude” because it mirrors all the benefits of a summer camp with programming that is hands on, builds community, and allows them to experience many different activities. These types of skills are essential to success in the future.
The overall structure of the program will be divided into academic support programming and enrichment programming. The emphasis of the academic programming will be on improving reading and math skills. The enrichment programming provides opportunities to explore the realms of culture, creativity and play. Both programs are 45-minutes each. Snack will be provided to all participants.
This program will begin on Monday, October 12th.
We encourage parents to do the following:
-
Review the options with your child.
-
If you plan on participating, please fill out the required permission slip.
-
Please go through the interventions and enrichment courses they are requesting to take.
Students have the option to attend interventions and enrichments on different days. Students MUST attend at least ONE intervention in order to participate in the enrichment portion of Camp Étude. They also have the option to attend as many interventions and enrichments as wanted.
Additional interventions and enrichments will continue throughout the school year. We will inform you of these new schedules prior to enactment.
The overall program is a great opportunity for kids. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask: call 920.459.0950 or email our Camp Étude Coordinator, Molly King, mking@etudegroup.org.
