IDEAS seniors will dive into college applications during the first Senior Institute Wednesday 8 October. We’ll meet during Guided Work Time, from 10 - 11 a.m., in the Science Room for one-on-one guidance with online applications.
Often the biggest challenge to applying for college or other programs is getting started. At this specialized meeting seniors will take the first steps and be able to ask questions as they go. They’ll be encouraged to make lists of what they still need to finish their applications and what deadlines are ahead.
Those who are undecided will confer with advisors to share ideas and set goals.
Seniors should plan to complete their applications before Thanksgiving.
One of our goals at IDEAS Academy is to guide students to confidently cross the bridge from high school to life after high school. We want all of our graduates to be qualified for college and beyond!
